Can someone tell me why this is the best game in the world. ?

It's not, opinions are all, nothing is THE best game ever.....

Meatal Gear 3 Snake Eater is the best game in the world because it is so real nothing else to it. How many other games are like this one also its been around for ever, and was always a big hit even the ones on Nintendo were just as good as the others. if you find a action game like metal gear thats better which i think you won't make sure everyone agrees.

It is not the best game in the world to everyone. Though, it is a good game because it has really good graphics and it is very fun.

This isnt the best game ever...The first metal gear solid was the best...you will never get a better game than metal gear solid 1 in terms of storyline and gameplay although the graphics were better on mgs 2 and mgs 3.

It's not..... there is none because different people think different ways, I personally think it's the best game at the moment because of the storyline and gameplay is original.

Metal Gear Solid 3 may not be the best game in the world to everyone. There is people that love war games, cars games, sport games... but to a real fan like me the Metal Gear series and especially the finality of snake eater represent much more than just a game, they represent a belief and a doctrine molded over and over throughout the years.

This evident truth is hidden from ordinary people, the same people that learn about it in history books and fail to see the real meaning of it.

We are blinded from the truth of the self, of the same world we were born into, most human beings are sucked by fantasies of heroism in a false dream of dying for their country in what is really a futile expression of disagreement: of war itself, of politics. MGS 3 really exposes the falseness and catastrophic results of conflicts within countries, which eventually end in war.

But aren't we in war all the time, isn't war a result of times? therefore Snake, THE BOSS, is somewhat like a neo in the matrix that manages to realize the final truth of everything and realese himself from a false world of politics and competition in which scientists, spies, soldiers, and even leaders are used for the mere purpose of power, snake then becomes "the enemy" in the world's point of view.

Just as his mentor boss, just because he tries to bring an end to the distorted power races that take place in the world in which we live in today... power tends to corrupt, and ABSOLUTE POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT ABSOLUTELY.

Thus Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is not just a game... it is a story, a teaching, a movie and a priceless song of real FREEDOM, that of which the hero would never find because he is giving up his freedom for the people, the same people that destroy him and praise him at the same time.

And this is one of the reasons why the game is the best in the world for me!
