Now, I'm having a little problem here.

There are a number of things you can do:

1. Once the battle starts you can save, turn off your PS2. then set your PS2's internal calender 1 week ahead.

You'll get a messege saying he died.

2. (I call it Preditor Style) use your thermal googles to find his footprints and hunt him like the preditor.

3.when hes being wheeled away at the dock, you can snpie him if you have the SVD.

There are more techniques you can do.

This is what I did:

Get the svd and run around untill he shoots at you, find his position and smoke him and then repeat.

Before you do the one when I told you to set your clock forward, DON'T.

What it does is it makes The End capture you while your sleeping.

I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong information, I got it from my friend and either he was lying or meant 1 month or year.

Start out by making sure your stmina is always almost full never let it fall below the first bar. If you get shot make sure to go into the survival viewer and use the knife to take out the needle he shot you with. crawling is a good technique but also takes the longest. He has predetermined points at which he will shoot you once he does shoot you or you shoot him they can be found as circles on the map in the survival viewer.

Remember to keep your stamina almost full at all times otherwise youll be starting all over, if your stamina is low and you cannot replenish it the best bet would be to not go into first person view , he will sneak up beside you and that will be "the end" ( no pun intended ) . Use a weapon that has an accurate sight on it if you use an ak-47 or other weapon with no sight you may miss and thats not what you want. Sneaking up behind him or where he is running is also a good move.

If you're still having trouble finding him try using the directional mic if you use your 45 you can get in about 4 rounds in each area but be careful sometimes he stays in the area and does not go into the next. Towards "the end"( again no pun intended) switch to a shotgun to finish him off. Hope this helps good luck...

All right, here's the easiest way. Let yourself get caught. Let him see you, get out of the line of his fire, crouch down, and he should walk up to you and shoot you.

You'll then end up in the jail cells at the lab you came from when you met Granin. From there, go back to face The End. Save the game and reset. Set the consol's time 3 weeks ahead, at least. The next time you play, you'll start out right behind him. Watch the video clip and you find out he died sometime during your 3 week battle.

However, I only recommend doing this way if your desperate to beat him. Otherwise do it the old fashion way. If you are going to kill him yourself, figure out your own way. All these different types of methods get really long and sometimes confusing.
