No it's not possible to get a sword or become a ninja in MGS3. Gray Fox doesn't even exist yet in the time that MGS3 is set, don't forget that MGS3 is a prequel set before all the other MGS games where you play as Big Boss the guy Solid, Liquid and Solidus were cloned from.

No, but god I wish you could. Lol. Gray Fox is cool. (Except the part where he screams "HURT ME MORE!!!" and then later bangs his head on the floor in MGS1) >.<
