Remember the place that was shooting fire? Well you are going to be coming back to that. Before you use the item you retrieve on the face that is shooting fire, go back to where the horse took you away and tada! Chests.

When you are at the swamp place when the barbarian king comes along, there are chests, you have to get them later when you back to the place where you find the cyclops', you just go up there to the swamp again and then collect the orbs with them.
