The ordinary Medusa can be killed by inflicting enough damage to it or until you can initiate the grab sequence. Killing a Medusa with the grab (circle) always gives blue orbs (The QTE always consists of moving the analog stick in different directions). When fighting them keep attention for their attacks. They have three types of attacks: lunging at you with their hands (they move a bit back and then charge at you); sweeping with their tail (usually performed after you land a combo, rather than single attacks and moving); using their gaze (green or red, can't be blocked without the Golden Fleece, you have to roll, until it stops). Being stoned in the air always results in death.
