To deflect the coming fire in the temple of Lahkesis, you first have to acquire the Golden Fleece after fighting a couple of bosses. When you have it, go again where the fire-shooting statue is and stand where the ground is blacker. You have to press the block (L1) in the last moment, when it's about to hit you. If it's successful you will hear a distinct sound and Kratos will glow shortly in golden colour. After that, just pres square to return the fire to the wall and break it.
