In the garden of the gods, the wall next to Ares is breakable and that's the way out of the room. After that you have to walk on the ledge all the way to the right, pass a pool of blood and after that you will emerge in the next main area.
Note that there are two red orb chests you can get in the garden and Athena's statue can also be broken for more red orbs.
