The easist way I've found to get guns up to hitman level is to put in the infinite health cheat then get out the gun you want to level up and start a gang war with anyone. You can't die from there bullets if you put in the cheat and you can collect the ammo they drop and never run out(or you can put in the infinite ammo cheat if they don't have the same gun, or if you just want to). Keep starting gang wars when you take over a territory and you can get all your guns to hitman level REALLY fast!

First gather at least 2 gang members.
Second head down to the bar that's near grove street.
Third walk in and don't tell your members to stay or to follow.
Right when you get in press up which will tell your gang members to follow.
Now go start a game of pool. Play at least 2 shots then you can quit.
Now when you stop playing you should find your members just standing there.
They are now indestructible.
You may do whatever you want to them.
Cut them, shoot them, pull their heads off. (JUST KIDDING ABOUT THE PULLING HEADS OFF THING.)
But you can even catch them on fire.
