Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Hints for PlayStation 2
You have to get to the buu saga and befor you turn in to vageto, go to the desert or mountins look for a place called mountins, thar you will talk to kabetokai, then fight buuhan and regular buu but insted of fighting kid buu you fight broly, after you fight gotenks will want to fight you but befor you fight him go to the ilands by the kame house thar you will get ssj4 goku, then go to west city, thar you will talk to bulma, she will say that the dragon balls are gone, then go fight gotenks after you fight gotenks you will get gogeta and omega will fight you, and thats how you get omega and ssj4 gogeta, hope this helps.

You have to beat goku and vegetas dragon universe once.on gokus the 2nd time on namek after deafeting freiza(not on dying namek)go to a red dot that looks like a blown up village deafte ssj vegeta then go to the red dot and deafeat cooler!
To get cooler you must do vegetas dragon universe must be on planet namek and must do all the cutscenes then fight first form vegeta and 2 dots will appear go to the one thats east and you will fight cooler beat him and you will unlock Cooler
To go to the dragon rush you must be in hyper mode and use a pppp(square button) then e(o button) it will usually engage dragonrush make sure theirs room behind your foe
To do a teleortation combo press pppp then e then immediatly after words press e(o button) towards behind you. Youu must have precise timing.
Just press L2 and you will go straight into hyper mode.
This is the easiest way to get to hyper mode. Hope this helped any one who doesnt have a just one button way into hyper mode.
the most important time to use this is when your enemy is in hyper mode ok so I you you can't dodge moves like kamehameha but you can dodge some forms of moves like weak punches and kicks you can't dodge strong punches and kicks you can dodge moves like gigantic meteor all you have to do is repeatedly press X
The best and easiest way to beat people in DU is to level up quickly.
To do this you first need DA. Get this by completing everyone's DU first. This includes Broly and Uub.
To get Uub play through Goku's DU and Use the Super Sprit Bomb on Kid Buu. A world Tournament will open up after that where you fix Uub. Just blow him away with your Death move.
To get Broly and SSJ4 And Omega Shinron (you go through the same quest anyways so lets get them all) Play through Goku's DU normally. Before you and Vegeta fuse using the earings go to the Desert below the red marker and look for both the mountains and ??? Markers. After going through those fight Super Buu and Super Buu inside his stomach. Now you will be told about a super powerful person. Go to the Dot and kill Broly. You know have him. Now go to the red marker talk to vegeta and then before you start the fight fly around the islands to the east of the red marker you'll then receive SSJ4. Now go to the red marker and complete the fight.
To get Omega Shinron do this but instead for talking to Vegeta after you beat Broly go to West City and talk to Bulma. She'll tell you the Dragon Radar is acting weird. Go to the marker and win that fight. Now you Fight Omega Shinron. Beat him to get him and Goku and Vegeta Fusion SSJ4.
Note: You must have played Through Goku's DU at least once before being able to complete any of this.
So now that you have completed all the DUs you can go to the DA. Here you characters can build levels. All you need to do is fight the strongest Videl or Hercule that you can see. Just keep fighting them until you can go onto the next one.
I was going to make multiple posts for all this but I decided to put it all here instead.
You can gain 99 levels in this game which means you get a total of 99 Z points. Here is your best Use of them.
Get your health Ki and attack all up to about 9 first. Then get your Arts to 20 (The max). This will make it next to impossible for Hercule or Videl to beat you since they do not dodge (most of the time)or teleport. Arts makes your death moves a lot stronger. After arts is at 20 put your Ki and Health to 20. Then attack to 20. This leaves you with 9 points to do with what you please. I say divide them between guard and Ability. Both are pretty useless as far as I can tell but oh well.

Putting an attack twice makes it stronger.
It can be argued that doing Bibi's Mind control instead of Super Sayain 4 is a lot better. Truth sure it can be but if your Opponent wipes you clean and takes very little damage that means it was worthless anyways.

First you need to put supersayian 4 on gokus skill list, then go to settings and put the time on 30 seconds or a minute, theen go to the tournament, whenever the fight starts try to charge your ki, and when it's fully charged press R1 to transform into supersayian 4 then use your kamekameha ad in no time your opponents life should be lower than yours and the time will end and you should win.
You get it in the skill shop but it will cost 150,000 zenie. Hope This Helps!!!
For you who don't know how to get Uub, this will be very helpful then. First you must be Goku in Dragon Universe and go through all sagas until you fight Kid Buu. If you're doing Goku's Dragon Universe a second time and all you can do is fight Broly but not Kid Buu then you must select New Story. When you're fighting Kid Buu as Goku, you have to use spirit bomb on Kid Buu. DO NOT use spirit bomb with kaoiken or SS1 SS2 SS3 and SS4. After you have used spirit bomb you then have to fight Uub in the World Tournament and you get his Capsule!!! Yay!!! Hope this Helps you guys.
Equip omega shenron who has hi baseline ki with sparking!!!!!!! And use the teleport counter trick to ringout your opponent since omga shenron has 7 bars of ki he can tc twice
You can easily win any match against any opponent in the world tournament stage. The easy tip is during the fight go to the boundaries of the stage and when your opponent attacks you press x and and arrow towards your opponent when you do this you will teleport and your character will attack your opponent from behind and will throw him out of the ring and you will win you can try this as many as times you want and beat your opponent
I have looked up and have tried the cpasle cheat trick/cheat, and I am thinking that it is Bogus. Additionally, I think that you can only use a capsule cheat on Dragonball Z: Budokai 2...
Unless of course you have Action Replay, like me...
First you need to aquire the sparking!!!!! For this method and then fight in novice a couple of times then you should have about 200,000 zenie I got over 1,000,000,000 zenie it's great a bit
Chose someone who has an attack that really drives an opponent back. For example, Uub's Ki Cannon doesnt do much damage, but it drives back whoever your facing towards the edge for an easier ring out. This makes advanced easier resulting in more money
Other people with good driving moves
Kid Buu - Vanashing Ball
Great Sayaman - Justice Kick
Picollo - Light Grenade
Broly - Blaster Shell
Freiza - Death Wave
Cooler - Sauzer Blade
All of the above really drive an opponent bacck for an easier ring out.
Heres an easy way to get z, z2 z3 just use uubs story modes cause he only has 3 characters to fight and your finish his dragon universe unless you go to master roshi after that you'll have to fight omega shenron
All you got to to is at the stage selection go to namek and instead of press X press O yes it works for the others stages that was one of those question that ppl were askin but I didnt wanted to write it because I was very lazy hope I help a little

What you do is once you've bought all the capsules it will say 86% so don't worry all you do is when you've got all the dragonballs with someone the dragon (shenron) will come and will say "you who have gatherd the 7 dragon balls I will grant you any one thing from among these!" and 3 wishes will come up a.k.a 3 special capsules, but you can only pick 1 and then you do DU again with the same person find all the dragonballs and complete DU and pick another thing and then you do it again. And you have to do it with everyone(even broly and uub)
