Okay, I got the airship with Cid Cecil Tellah (i think) and Yang and I went to baron and guy said something bout king downstairs and so went this room thing and the king said something about the sommoners and I need to get the Earth Crystal, what do I do?

He means that you have to pass trhough the monster' land before fight him. This game's part goin on in the underworld ,after you get in there and learn more about the summoner' you can go there and beat him once for all!!
