the secret dungeon

I know that there was a secret dungeon in the original game. It was located next to the face on the moon after beating the game. I have not heard about one in the DS remake though, and cannot find it if is exists. Can someone please let me know if it was removed or not.

I haven't found any such dungeon, but I do know that the game is basically a port with numerous enhancements and a few additions. Nothing about anything being removed, so the secret dungeon should still exist in this version of the game.

The secret dungeon was only created for the Game Boy Advance version of the game--it does not exist in the DS version. However, if you steal the Dark Matter from Zeromus, then play through the New Game+ until you get to the moon, you can go to the face on the moon and attempt a bonus boss fight. You get no special items or bonuses for beating this boss, however.

When you defeet zeromus and have edge steal the dark matter from him you can still have the dark matter the second play through and use the dark matter by the face of the moon there is no secret dungeon but you do fight a boss wayyy harder the zeromus called proto-babil but I suggest you get geared and averything to fight this boss hes wayyyyy harder than you think
