After you beat the game once and you keep playing and you get to the giant of babil and you beat the four elemental archfiends, if you go back to the spot in the middle and press A it says "The fiends malice remains here, will you face it?" and if you do you fight Geryon. he has all of the fiends abilities and K.O.'s you all in one hit with inferno, and tsunami deaths all of your guys. I gave up eventually and left the tower, but if you go to mount ordeals where you became a paladin you can do the same thing. My guys are all lvl 70 and he still wipes me out every time. Has anyone beaten him? if so gimme some tips.

When I beat Geryon, all of my party members were Level-99. It's pretty easy to get everyone to that level if you use your Sirens to continually face either Green or Yellow Dragons (both can be found in the underworld). All of my characters were equipped with Adamantine Armor and their most powerful weapons. The party I defeated Geryon with consisted of Cecil, Kane, Rosa, Rydia, and Edge. Do not use Rosa for anything except healing/reviving duties, continually Summon Bahamut with Rydia, Draw Attacks with Cecil, jump with Kane, and Throw things with edge (his Blitz Ninjistu is also quite helpful). Cursed Rings negate all that. Get 5 and equip one to each party member. Other than that, do what the guy before me said. With the rings, it's a joke. Sorta. Kinda. Maybe.
Well did beat him at Level 74 but I didn't have a professional way like the others I just sort of winged it all I did was have Rosa and Cecil Equip Adamant Armor so they are immuned to most curses except when he uses Mael Storm or whatever that annoying move was that brings your HP to like 2 or 1 then I use rosa to cast Curaja. I also made sure I had haste, shell and Blink Cast on me and Lots of Dry Ether and elixir and Have Bless so Rosa wouldn't run out of Mp. I had Cecil Equip Focus and Limit Break and He can easily Deal 16,000 or more damage I didn't bother reviving my other party members which I know I should have but they just keep dying on the next turn anyways but That is how I beat him it's not the best strategy but hey It worked for me
