Baby in an empty house? Who are the parents?

So I had two sims who had a baby, but then I bought a mansion and it would not give me the option to move the entire family. So what I did was make the two sims divorce, moved one into the mansion, made the sims get back into a relationship, move the other sim into the mansion, but it didn't bring the baby!? The baby is now in an empty house and I noticed that the tag on the parents would usually say "mom" or "dad", but that's gone now. It just says "adult". What happened and how do I fix this?

Yeah that is just odd. I don't think you can move them back in or replace the link between them once it is broken. The simple solution would be to delete the baby and try again?
