Practice ice skating and eventually you will get the key in your awards.I completed all the Alien tasks and it came up that to access the lift etc I had to practice skating until the key appeared

Just practice skating at the hokey place for a long place until I found the key it is cool when you unlock it. Good luck!😉

You have to continuously figure Skate in the ice Hockey rink or at one of your Sims house's pool that is frozen because of the weather machine and then you will get the key instead of a medal eventually

I have to agree. I have had 7 sims skating full time for about 4-5 days and still haven't got the key. Still two medals to go - 7 sims and I just keep getting repeat medals. I've gone too far now to give up, but it is a bit tedious. It better be worth it!If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
