Question for The Sims FreePlay

I am level 30 on updated beach house Sims free and it isn't giving me the new goals and I'd like to build on the hew lots and start new jobs that show as locked.

Around the left of the screen there's a circle click it.Finish a couple Goals then you get new Jobs,and etc.(don't want to spoil it)
