Buy 2 or 3 couches depending on it's capacity. Place them in the homes. Select 6 Sims to click on the couches and choose the Nap option.

I have this but it doesn't work does it have to be in the one house or in there own..

Sorry I don't think that is possible but buy more sofas depending on the capacity of the sofa
