What is the green square that keeps appearing on sims freeplay?

I'm not sure what you are talking about, but I see that this comment was posted before the latest update (pool update.) this sounds like a glitch. This was probably fixed in the latest update.

It's a glitch, normally the square goes around a thing like hunger or bathroom. It blinks green when boosting whatever it is you're doing. So normally, if you were planting, the green square would surround the fun square. It just appears higher up on the screen than normal.

The same thing happens to me but it only happens to me when all of my Sims in the house are sleeping. And every sims health/happiness /hunger... Ect. Is full. I guess it is just a glitch. I already updated the sims game tho.

I still have that glitch now and it's 11 months later. It is just the box that surrounds the Sims needs above where it should be.

I think it's the programmer looking at the activity and progress of your game. This is how they collect data and keep a Status of what is being use and how to make it better. Personally I don't use the Paradise island because I ran out of time collecting fruits. So they can get rid of that. I had five green squares watching me while my Sim was riding the Horses.
