Question for The Sims FreePlay

I decided to get a married couple divorced who had a baby. Both couples moved into different houses, however the baby has stayed in the original house and there isn't any obvious way of relocating it.

You can do this easily with a dog, why can't you with a baby? Has anyone else come across this problem? If so, can you give me some ideas on how to solve it?

I'm on level 31 and I really don't want to have to reset the game :( at the moment all the parents can do is babysit and can't move back in!

I've never had this problem, but if the baby is the only one in the house, then he/she basically owns it. Anyone who wants to move in will have to become friends with the baby and ask to move in, other than that you most likely can't move the baby, because for it to move it'd have to become friends with another Sim and ask them if it can move in.
I don't think you can do anything, sorry.
