Question for The Sims FreePlay

Why would I relocate a sim who already has a house into a house that is now empty as someone moved in with her fiancé? This will cost £5000 so is there a benefit?

There isn't really a benefit, however in the future you could add more Sims to that empty house and not have to pay as much.
