How do sims get merried?

Im on level 11 and it hasn't done anything more from level 7 I went on you tube and It showed me a video it said just be romantic I tryed but it is the same nothing's working

You have to be at the highest romance level witch is when the partner box stops moving then you do all your tasks that it set for you and when the task get engaged and marriaged comes up click on it and rings pop up choose a good ring.

It depends on the game.
If it's the Sims 1, then all you have to do is get their relationship up to "love" and then there should be a button that says "propose" the next time you click your sim.

If it's the Sims 2, then you have to make them kiss and hug a lot. Try admiring the opposite sim often and do many back rubs. After their relationship on BOTH sides is love, then you make one of your sims click on the other one and press propose>engagement and then it will go into a mode where they get engaged.

If it's the Sims 3, you have to get them to "go steady" which the guy might ask. This can only be done when they're being extremely flirty. It goes from "flirty", to "alluring" to "extremely irrestible". The box at the top will say "(her name) thinks (his name) is being extremely irresistible". At that point, the option to "go steady" should be avaliable, probably in the "romantic" portion. After they're "going steady", make them super flirty again and there should be the option to propose engagement. And then marriage. You can even throw them a wedding party if you want.
