Question for The Sims FreePlay

I bought the vampire den. But then I can't add a sim. Each time I clicked on the finished house, it asked me to create a sim. But each time I am done creating a sim, it was not added in my simtracker. But the number of sim adds on in the den itself. Is this normal?

When you have had a baby any Houses you make will show up as non existent on the map. If you make another house the vampire den will show up.
