Speed up time?
It is taking to long for stuff to be complete. How do I speed it up, if I can?

Using LP's will finish tasks immediately. Usually about 1 lp per hour left on the task.

Um I'm sorry to say that you might realize that the time on the Sims freeplay is the same as the clock on the device your using so the only way possible to speed up time would be to change the time on the device your using weather if it's an iPad, iPhone, or iPod

It says when i do it that i do not have the update but when i go to the store while im doing that it says no internet and then when i turn it back it doesnt show i can update it

Well seeing as the time is the same as yours on the I pad iPhone or iPod I just went to settings turned the wireless off. Went to General. Scroll down to date & time. Set date and time and change 2 years in-front.Then turn back the wireless. Sorry if it dosen't work.

Well you could change the time on the system you are playing on and then put back the time when you are done with the task in Sims freeplay.

Well I tried but I don't know if it works for you. If it does, YAY if it doesn't sorry :(
So I tried switching to August 1 at 1:49pm... You don't need to switch off the wifi just don't go back or else you loose it which I did for me.
You also have to see after you go back to the game and after it loads it should say " connecting to internet ". So why not try different times

I haven't found a way for Windows phone, but am working on it. Setting your time to the future won't work because It recognizes it as a timing mechanism(timer) and does not recognize the specific stopping time.

The reason why it doesn't work is because the new update won't let the devices time interfere. So the only way is earn LP which can be earned by levelling up or a dog can dig up LP.

M only on level 8 and I don't have a dog yet. My 2 Sims are engaged and one is calling about it on the phone. It says it will take 5 hours. If you aren't patient, like me, then you can not wait that long. HELP ME PLEASE!

I agree.
I have to annoce engagement and it taking 4 Hours to do it. Maybe there should be a new update to make things more relastic and shorten the time

I’m finna go complain to EA about this because most people are impatient and don’t wanna wait 5 hours for a sim to get off the phone, they should make an update on where u have an option to use real time or a time laps like the game in a computer .
