How do you clean up puddles? Tapping on them doesn't work

As long as your sim isn't already doing something else, you ought to be able to tap on the "puddle" and choose "clean up."

How do you clean up puddles outside the house wall? It won’t allow the sim to go outside the wall.Guest answered:
U have to walk away from the puddle and then tap it and hit clean up
