I would try the usual meaness, and complaining, and flirting with other Sims. Maybe that lowers the level of affection and they break up.

All you have to do is to use negative Social interactions with the 2 Sims. Hope this helps.

It's easy just click on one of your Sims and click all the bad ones like be rude and keep insulting the sim until you are enimies then click on break up

Has this actually worked for anyone? I keep using all the negative options but nothing happens, the relationship Status just stays there.

Yes I agree it won't work on how many times you do negative interactions it will not change their relationship Status because I've had tired it numerous times and it will not change at all it will remain partners

OK, I've figured it out. U know how there's a Bar to describe the Status of your relationship with another sim. Well you want that bar empty. So if you're a budding relationship and, you have some pink, go up to dating. Then when you're bar is empty complain and be rude and the bar will fill up blue. When it is full with blue you will have the option to break up.

I tried the negative actions as well -- the only thing that happens is that I get a 'next' button added, but when I press it, the game kind of freezes. I am not quite certain on what to do, and the worst part is that, because I was fooling around, one of my Sims has two partners, and she can't get married with the other one -- the one that I want her to marry -- and so I am stuck as well.
