i need to know this

Is there any way another person can come to my town or me go to theirs? Like, the character you play comes to my town, or I go to yours? I only have the gamecube version so I need to know if it is possible for this to happen on this version. Thnx for taking the time to read and answer my question.

There is a way for someone to come to your town or mine.
To do that you have to have another persons memory card or just have two memory cards and start another game in the second memory card.
For example if you had my memory card you could come to my town but if you only have one memory you can't go to some elses town. !Hope this helps!

Yup, like he said you need to have there memory card put into slot b, then go to the train station and boom, you can take a trip, mine animal crossing came with a scond memory card so I created two towns, it fun because the second town has differnt fruit so I pretty make my town a fruit orchad, and every time I visited by the walrus guy, he sometimes gives me new fruit! So I have got like almost every type of fruit, darn I went blabering, well anyways yeah, you can visit other towns, and if you want another memory card try buying a used one from like eb games or something
