I'm new too
 1) okay I got a charzard lvl 69 and a lot of Pokemon about like 65. I caught the legendary fire bird that I forgot it's name. I caught it with my master ball, which after looking up, was a mistake. Right now, I'm at articuno. How can I capture it? I've tried like stunning it and it wont work. I know if I put it to sleep that works better but I don't know which Pokemon know's sleep powder or w/e. Does oddish?
 
 2) I don't really wanna level my charzard a lot cause all my other Pokemon I caught ar like lvl 40- most are lvl 30 or like under lvl 10. Which should I do, just keep training my charzard or take a weak party to like palet town.
 
 3) How should I train my really low lvl Pokemon if all of the lvls are now like 40+?
 
 4) srry this is a lot but, I can't find where the eighth gym is. I've been to: the first island, second, third, laevnder, saffron, and every single one. That I can think of. I'd go look but I am at articuno.

#1 it's by luck.Save the game and go fight him so if you kill him you can restart
Also use your charizard to burn it (any sort of statues problem can help and CAREFULY try to lower it's health to about 10hp so it's easier).use ulta ball if needed.good luck.

#2Train the weak pokemon.Anyway it's up to you.

#3use the exp share you get by the aide of prof oak OR use the old hint!Simpley put the weak ones in front and switch them into your mightey charizard and they'll get exp points too!

#4look,like duh don't you have the manual? Like everyone knows it's in the second town and the leader is giovani.HINT:after you catch the articuno learn it water moves and that will give you advantage because he uses ground types.

1.Same thing as you did in Moltres...Gloom will make it sleep or Snorlax with it's snore...

2.Level up your charizard to the max but let the other weak Pokemon hold the EXP.SHARE so they can gain EXP too...

3.Yeah..if you want and if the Pokemon is quite strong

4.Viridian,Pewter,Cerulean,Safron,Celadon,Fuschia and Cinnabar..there is no Eigth gym..

Oddish does put Pokemon to sleep. It learns Sleep Powder at level 18.

Power up the weaker Pokemon. I had to learn the hard way.

Challenge the Elite 4. Bring a low level Pokemon and your most powerful Pokemon. Give the low level Pokemon EXP. SHARE. It really gives the low level Pokemon a boost.

Viridian City. The Mystery Gym Leader is Giovanni. Use powerful water attacks like Surf and Waterfall. He uses Ground Pokemon.

There is an 8th gym cos I've got 8 badges on my trainer card so don't confuse ppl by saying there's not 8. The gyms are in:
Viridian
Pewter
Cerulean
Saffron
Vermilion
Fuchsia
Cinnabar
Celadon
