Can you get the ruby and sappire,befor the league ?

I don't remember doing that before the league and you get them on the islands I don't remember Ruby but they tell you where it is I think and the sappire you go to Six Island I think then you go looking for it. After you find it a rocket scientist will take it and then you have to go fight them a base on 7 island.
P.S. It may be 5 then 6 not 6 and 7 I'm sorry it's been a long time since I done this.

No. You must beat the Elite Four and then help Bill's friend on One Island to get those two items.

No, you can't. Once you beat the League, you can go to Mt.Ember where those two Rockets are talking and a hole should appear. If you talk to them, they'll battle ya with the normal Rocket Pokemon, Lv.38-39. Beat them, then go into the cave and follow the path to the Ruby. The Sapphire is at Dotted Hole, and Dotted hole is in Seven Island. (Use Cut on the door to get inside.)

You can only get it after you pass the league the first time, then when you have 60 or more pokemon, go and talk to oak, he will give you the nationaldex, then go to island 1, talk do Celio, go to Mt. Ember and there will be an entrance blocked by 2 rockets. beat the 2 rockets and enter the cave.
Search well and you'll find the Ruby.

I've never tried getting them before the league.
Ruby - Mt. Ember.
Sapphire - Southern half of Six Island.

You can get the Ruby befor the leage because Celio needs it but you have to beat the league befor you can get the Sapphire because you have to obtain the rainbow pass.
