It has the highest base stat total out of them all but only being 5 higher with the others standing by at 530. But the best part of Swamper isn't the Moves all total its the fact it only has one weakness Grass Types, it can though cover up that weakness with Ice Beam or Blizzard. But as its Sp. ATK is not as high as its ATK nor is its SPD stat around average, it can easily get KO'd by a fast Grass-Type like Sceptile, due to its double weakness to grass-types. Its signature move during this Generation is Muddy Water.

So really they should choose which one fits them the best, instead of someone else telling them which is hte best (I hate those people). Blaziken whose attacks would OHKO really well when being super effective against the opponent. A Sceptile set up, killer. Or even a cover up my weakness Mud fish. But please note that all Grass, Water and Fire type moves are Special in this game.

no when nyou complete the game you go under water and to the end of that cave then if you have relicanth first and wailord last in your team use dig then it should say three doors have opened the first cave is at the desert right at the bottom right and one is near the left of the gym where you need flash to see in the dark and the third is at thye place where you get that weather changing pokemon theres a place where you surf to the left and there is a man behind him you will find him the first place i said has regirock second regiice third registeel they all have a move called superpower

get a trapinch then train it up to lvl 41 and dont let it evolve and it will now learn dig but if you evolved it it will learn screech
