Date of Question: Apr 6 2008 | Question ID: 114934 HI everyone I'm hoping you can tell me how to into the 8th gym I've been told that you have to use the item finder to find the key but I don't know were it is and also I've been told you have to find the gym leader but again I don't know were he is can anyone tell me? You can get there by Diving in the large area of dark water on route 128 and then by going into the underwater cave and then surfacing there. You will be in the Seafloor Cavern of Team Magma. When you find your way to Maxie, he battles you and you will see Groudon. Groudon goes off somewhere and you see Archie and you all go outside with the flashing light. When Maxie and Archie go, you Fly to Sootopolis and Maxie and Archie will be by the Gym. You Surf to the left and go up the stairs to the top of the town and then over to the right and Wallace the Gym Leader with Steven will be there. They talk to you and you go into the Cave of Origin Where you find Groudon(it's easy to find him). When you catch him(don't use your Master Ball, save it for Latios, look at my submission "Easy way to find Latios", or look at my Walkthrough), or make him faint(not recommended), you come out and you can battle Wallace.

Ok no offense but your explanation is wrong in a poin and to long but anyways the way to do that is Groudon after the hideout in lilicove go to underwater cavern get to groudon battle maxie in this case, and then groudon will disapear. Then go to sootopolis then origin cave where before you get there will be confronted by champion steven( yes he is Pokemon league champion) take flash go into cave go through it(youll find waterfall in there by a ladder) then battle and or catch groudon then go to gym and steven will talk to you then solve ice maze.
