The two types of currency used in Young Souls are goblin coins and human cash. You will be able to easily earn goblin coins by gathering the loot that is scattered throughout the game and selling it to goblin vendors. To get human cash, so you can spend it in the downtown area shopping is not so easy. This How to Make Human Cash guide will tell how you can get your hands on this currency in Young Souls.
One way is to sell junk at the 'Give 'N Go', which is the local pawn shop that can be found on the right-side of downtown. This is basically the process of converting goblin coins to human cash by spending the goblin coins on weapons and armor and then selling them at the pawn shop. Even though your items will depreciate in value with each trade it will still enable you to get human cash.
Keep in mind that gear has a much higher value if it has been upgraded. The higher the quality of gear you sell the more human cash you can expect to get back in return. Don't sell your gear at the Goblin Market because you will get goblin coins instead of human cash and human cash is a far more valuable currency.
If after you have brought and sold every single piece of gear that is available in Young Souls you discover you need more cash you can always gather resources and sell those. Resources are found by smashing crates while in dungeons, and although the payout is not a large amount the supply isn't as limited as the gear that you buy from vendors.
