Infinite Storage cheat for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Infinite Storage

Whenever you come across a storage container, you can store any excess items in it and should be able to return to it and collect them later.

This is not guaranteed but is nearly always the case. The only way to store items with no risk is to buy a property and keep them in there.

I agree, it is stupidity to call infinite storage a cheat. But one way I believe that you could do this without owning a house is through the quest "Legend of Red Eagle". Essentially you will obtain a sword that acts as a key to a secret passage in a cave, just defeat the enemy inside to complete the quest and you can come and go as you please. Use the sword to open up the room whenever you want to get in, and take it out when you leave. The chest inside the room will remain secure.

That you would call a container a cheat is a powerful testament to your extreme level of stupidity

Infinite storage can be found at the Magic College. Upon admittance into the college as an apprentice they will give you a room with a roommate. Use the wardrobe on the right side of the room nearest the door. Save upon storing and go back to double check wardrobe inventory to double check. On level 79, and have been using it all this time. No problems yet, but I save after each time I store with the understanding that Skyrim does have some storage glitches. Enjoy!

You obviously don't quite know what your talking about. Certain containers WILL RESET OVER TIME. Don't store your items in random places. Its best to only use your house as storage. There are certain shacks that can be used as free player homes. Use a wiki to find out about which ones you can use.
