If I where you I would bring Uthgerd the Unbroken from Whiterun, Jenessa from Whiterun and the guy who is available to be as your follower at the entrance to The Bee and Barb in Riften for 500(he does magic). At least that's what I did so you can have some sort of variety.

yep i figured it out i didnt realise it was the "followers" that you can hire lol
