Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
I was in the Bravil Mage's Guild and I was picking peoples pockets then in one persons inventory there was a item called Ring and in it's picture there was just blue-green.I tried to drop it but it said it was a quest item.Does anyone know what quest it's for?

I got this as well, except it froze when I tried to drop it. I'm guessing that it's simply an item that was meant to be part of a quest but it was removed from the game, but the item itself was not fully removed.
