1. Fort Farrgut is east of Cheydinhal. Just follow the road. There is a hollowed out tree on the left side of the foort where you can gain easy access to where Lachance is.
2. Go to "pick avatar" at the top of the screen while your logged in. Then pick from there.

Fort Farragut is east "I think" of Cheydinhal, just follow the road up the hill and you will find it. There is also a back entrance to Lachance's chambers in the base of a hollow tree which makes it a lot easier instead of getting pounded by all of his guardians which happened to me. And on the other note, there should be some words next to your non avatar that says "pick avatar," that is, if you are a member.
