If you purchased the home.inside the manor there will be a cracked urn with a ribbon and a skeleton hand take both and track down the guy you bought the house from have him go to the manor and open the portal in the basement proceed to the skeleton on the coffin and activate it.listen to what he says when he is finished talking put his missing hand back on him then when he rises kill him quick.don't forget to swipe his staff and grab all the loot out of the room.when this is done the manor will return to normal.

After you buy the manor, sleep in the bed, and the journal will tell you the rest.
