Hey, I'm kinda new to this game (only lvl. 3!) and it takes me 10 lockpics..

You can do it manually but it kind is hard to explain....

Well the best idea to do is to find the deadric statue nocturnal she tells you her eye was stollen from her by two argonians in leyawin.

Go to leywin ask someone about eye of nocturnal and then it will give you an update on the compas go to the place (a house) and talk to both argonians about the eye of nocturnal they will tell you they have no clue what your talking about.

A new thing on your quest will come up to easdrop on them hide somewere near and listen in they will talk to each other about how they hid it in a cave and how they are a afraid a troll will eat it.

Go to the cave run through there cause your a lvl 3 and fallow the marker it should lead you to a dead end that drops into water go in the watter and you will see a big bright thing that looks like it's on fire take that back to the shrine of nocturnal.

You will obtain the skeleton key and a fortify attribute the attribute give you 40 plus security and the key will NOT BREAK it's more of a lock pic more then a key. Oh well hope I helped.

Alteratin magic can be used to pick locks. Join the mages guild and unlock the arcane univercity. Or in the meen time if the pick goes up fats do not try to press a insted wait for it to drop and as soon as it drops push it up again and press a. You should get the hanh of it eventually.

Wha you first might want to do is click it up (da lockpick) 2 see how fast it goes.

it is hard to explain. but what i do is wait to see when it goes really fast then when you push up again press A. It always works.

Use one spell over and over until you're about level 8 and then buy the open easy lock spell from the guy at the mages guild in bruma.or you can do the mages guild reccomindation in bruma talk to volonaro and he'll teach you a open easy lock spell called minor latch crack .hope this helps
