Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Whats the deal with the mages guild in Cheydinhal? Its the last recommendation I need, but the head-mage is locked in a room in the basement, and I need a key. Does he come out at a certain time, or do I have to find the key?

The mages guild head in cheydinhal will come out eventually but I noticed that he does stay pinned up for a while try 8a.m. And later wait 1 hour and if he is not out continue to wait by 1 hour until you see him it worked great for me I'm a level 25 mage in the arcane university on my file.
