Will game of the year work with regular game?

Hey everyone. I have a question about the game of the year edition and the regular edition of oblivion. Ok I borrowed the disc from my brother with the downloads for shivering isles and knights of the nine, but I don't have the actual game myself. So I downloaded everything and I was wondering if I went out and bought the regular version of oblivion, would I be able to play the other stuff that I downloaded?..Thanks!

YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO BUT BE WARNED IT WILL HAVE TO MODIFY THE DISC AND PUT CERTAIN PATCHES ON IT SO YOU CANT DO CERTAIN THING LIKE CHEAT.

SUPERMAN5 answered:

Maybe, but it will require patches, then you won't be able to cheat.

superbird5005 answered:

Yes, you would be able to play everything with the regular game disc instead of the GOTY edition.
