I am doing the quest for the second doyen of the thievs guild, I forgot how to spell her name.. Anyhow I went to the count and stole the ring, but I robbed her jewery box before she went to bed, then waited for her to go to sleep. I then robbed her jewery box once more and there were two rings in it. So when I went to the person I am supposed to give it to ... It's Ahdirji? But she keeps telling me to steal the ring.. But I have two.. So I'm stuck.. I can't throw them away because they are for a quest... And I can't give it to anyone.. if you can help, thanks

Awww you fell into the same trap I did! The game is glitched. If you take both the rings, you can NEVER advance in the guild again, because you can NEVER turn then in to the doyen. Just make another game and if you see two rings again, only take one.

That has got to suck...the same happened to me before I put patches on my game. Sorry dude you'll just have to start a new game and take only one if it happens again.

I had that happen to me almost exactly the only solution is to go back on your save if you have one.
