If by "floaters" you are refering to the Ghost Victims it is impossible to kill them. Your best bet is to just run around them. It is a bot unnerving at first but you get used to it after a while. Later in the game you will acquire special swords called "Swords of Obedience" and you will be able to pin the Ghost Victims to the ground rendering them harmless but I highly recomend you use them on the 4 strongest Ghost Victims (Victims 16, 17, 18, and 19. If you don't understand what I mean now, you will sooner or later.) considering that there is only 5 swords in the whole game (you probably wont use the fifth considering it is unconviently placed after all the main ghosts are already pinned)

Your key will be found back in your room,(302).go through a tunnel,then go to your bedroom.now go over by the windows and look beside the bed on the floor.of course you will need all the red scraps of paper from the apartment world first!

Looks like it's been a while since you posted this q... So I don't know if it's too late. First you have to climb the ladder that goes up to the three floors, where you can see into the little rooms. You have to use the map to line up the holes.... Or the corpse shoots..... You line it up with the hole that is above the kitchen door, the one with the key pad, then you can see the key pad.

I gave an answer to this question before and I would like to apologize as it was incorrect. The answer should be that you need to go back to your room and dail the phone 555-3750 and then it will give you the new number to the store. Sorry for the miss information.
