Chapter 15 is the crawling catacombs. I ASSUME you mean the area where there are four rooms with eyeballs in each. Many people have a tendency to NOT go DOWN to the bottom of the screen. What some folks call "South" since NORTH is always at the top of a map. There is a room with and eyeball there also, which you may have missed. To get past this area, either break through the wall to the right or use a bomb. Use a bomb to break through the room at the top. The area you need to get into is between the 8:00 room and the 1:00 room (if you are looking at a clock face. I.E. To the upper left side of the screen. The TRICK is to stand your Skylander near the center where the bombs are located. You don't have to go all the way into the rooms with the eyeball. You just don't have enough time. Grab a bomb and throw it into each of the FOUR rooms. If you do it quickly enough you will have time to run INTO the locked room at the upper left.

WARNING, I have played this level MANY TIMES, about 2/3 of the time, the darn gate CLOSES after I enter the room "trapping me". I have to end the chapter and start over. All you need is to collect the HAT (a Beret) from that room. Once you have it, you don't have to go back into the room ever again. If you get trapped in the room, you should have already collected the hat, so there is no need to go back. Just restart the chapter, and next time, don't go into that room. It is a dead end anyway.

THROWING bombs takes a little practice. On an XBOX, you use the RIGHT JOYSTICK to shake stuff. You also use it to control the direction you throw a bomb. If you need practice, go to the beach at the ruins and get bombs from the ClamTron robot and practice your "directional" throws on the beach. Eventually, you will get to where you can control WHERE the bomb goes by the direction you PUSH the joystick.

You will use this same technique to throw other bombs in this same chapter (and other chapters) to knock down walls and kill spiders in the rooms below you (and other enemies). You can only throw bombs a short distance, so you have to be close enough for the bomb to go where you want it. Use a bomb to kill or stun that darn thief to get the key.

Those bombs are incredibly handy and they will not hurt you. Unfortunately, the fuse is only good for 10 seconds. So you may have to go get another and HURRY to the target. If you consistently run short of time. Use a "Flying" skylander. Go into FLIGHT mode, fly "under" the bomb to pick it up, and then head for your target, You CAN still throw it OR simply HOVER near the target. The bomb concusion will do the work for you and the concusion will NOT hurt you.

A little further into this chapter, you come to a darkened area that is TOUGH. If you are familiar with mazes, you can use either a RIGHT HAND or LEFT HAND rule to explore the maze. By that I mean choose which wall you will follow, and FOLLOW IT RELIGIOUSLY all the way through the maze. This will only fail if the maze has a central area that is NOT connected to the outer walls. I believe THIS dark area fits that exception. If you "see" and area you have not actually "touched", then once you have completed the circuit, move to the opposite wall and use the OTHER HAND rule to explore the central maze. I have not found a maze within the skylander levels will multiple islands of maze. Those can be really tough to explore. ESPECIALLY in the dark.

One of the rooms in this dark area has a candleabra that you can PUSH around. That is handy to move to a room that you can't see well. It is also handy to position it in front of the door with two key holes, to help you find your way back when you go searching for keys. Those candelabra are found in many skylander levels. You can use them as a source of FIRE when you are battling zombies that can only be killed by fire. I find it easier just to switch to a Skylander of the fire element, they come equipped with FIRE.

"DOWN" (directly SOUTH or toward the "bottom" of the screen) from the two key room is a narrow hallway that opens into a room with a BUNCH of spider spawners. There is also a bomb in that room. Kill the spider spawners to eliminate the hoard of little spiders. Use a SHOOTER if you have one. Someone like Hex or Cynder works great here, OR you can use Spyro also. Then take the bomb and deliver it to areas where you need to blow up a wall, or a spider, or one of those hanging spinning blade things. Bombs destroy all kinds of stuff and bombs DON'T hurt you at all.

There are several things within this darkened area that you have to collect. One is a legendary treasure behind a barred wall. To get this you use a teleporter (found further into the area), to teleport back and get the legendary, then teleport back again. The three treasure chests come soon after finding the teleporter. (Or maybe before, if you are having a tough time finding the room with the teleporter in it.

This area is tough, only because it is DARK. You kind of have to "feel" your way along because lots of bad things are JUST outside your field of view. Be prepared to start shooting soon. If you have a skylander with unlimited ammo, then you can simply shoot constantly, aiming in every possible direction and keep moving as you travel through the maze. Once you have killed EVERYTHING then it is easier to systematically explore the maze looking for rooms you might have missed.

Your final objective is the skull mask that is inside the very last room you have to open.
