I can not sync the portal of power to the wireless reciever

Portal of power - have you taken out the USB stick?
- have you put in batteries?
If not do this, restart, try again.
My kids are having the same issue. I try to sync it, which will cause the light on the usb and on the portal of power to blink really quickly - then it will go to a slow blinking light.
Ours is flashing too and wont sync at all. It was working fine and now nothing- this is on the ps3. What is wrong with this game??
The credics are saying that it's a waste of money because the portal always breaks after the first weak or so...

? Nothing is wrong with mine... Maybe my good luck came with it since I won my copy in a raffle. Oh well....
I recommend getting rechargable batteries for the wireless portal. Regular batteries drain to quickly. I had the same problem. Game saves have nothing to do with the issue.
The portals mood light uses less battery power while not synced. When synced the portal turns off due to low battery power. Using lithium ion batteries have given us longer gameplay.
Mine syncs but every time the game turns on it shuts down the Portal.
My wireless receiver has been lost! All other wireless receivers are $30-35, and I want a cable, but those are $99! Any help wondering what to do? I've beaten the game, but I'm still working on making it poerfect, with all the characters, hats, stars, yadda yadda.
I to was having this problem but it was due to the fact that there were not enough carrots in the fridge and the trout was getting warm. I found it to work better it you take your portal of power and throw it at a large beaver.
Ok just buy a new usb chip all of your data is saved on the system of whatever you r playing your game on
There seem to be a problem with the battery dividers, the batteries do not make enough contact with the terminals due to the T shaped dividers, I carefully removed the dividers from the compartment and put paper in between the batteries just to hold them in place and portal has worked ever since
