Black Rider - Merry
If you are playing the Black Rider section of the game and require Merry to be able to fish, you can select him using the character wheel. Although you won't have purchased or unlocked him at this point, you can use him to complete this section - just use the character wheel. All four hobbits are available for you.
Unlock Characters
The following bonus characters will become available when you have a 100% game completion.
Elrond (2nd Age):
Have a 100% game completion to get this half-elven character.
Newborn Uruk-Hai:
Have a 100% game completion to get this Orc that serve Sauron and Saruman.

In the 3DS version there is a bird on the plains of Rohan. You need to use Legolas to jump up into a hollow tree, then wall jump up the tree to a branch, Walk along the branch, shoot the target and the bird will fall down. |

So basically if you get on a mount with poop studs turned on and you press the ability button on a mount it will, you guess it, poop out studs that you can collect. This is really great if you want to get easy studs by just mashing a button |
| 3DS Lego Lord of the Rings: Mines of Moria- The Troll |
OK, to defeat him you have to be in Legolas. Once you have gone through the hobbit holes as a hobbit or as a dwarf and have gone up, you find a block with rope on it. You have to activate it and then the troll will come over. Run backwards as he hits the block, and then his weapon will get stuck. As Legolas tightrope over the rope and jump onto his head, firing an arrow into his noggin. Do the same on the other side. One of the sides Gimli has to destroy something to get the troll to come over. |
