Claim your Elite Points Daily

Make sure you remember to claim your daily free Elite points, so you can increase your Elite level and gain additional passive perks, these will include things like an increase in resource production and speeding up the training of your survivors. To claim your Elite points you need to go to the top-left side of the screen and tap the 'Elite' option to access the menu where you can claim the Elite chest. You always have the option to buy more Elite points by spending rubies.

Always be Busy

In the Walking Dead: Survivors you have an idle queue bar on the left side of the screen below the survivor avatar frame which tells you what activities are currently taking place. These activities include research in the library, exploration camps, squares, training facilities, and construction. It is essential in order to progress in the game as fast as possible you keep an eye on the idle queue bar and ensure that it is always busy, so you gain the associated benefit. Keeping the training facilities busy for example will enable you to gain more troops.

Assign Idle Survivors to Gather Resources

Make sure your survivors are always doing something. If you go to the 'Production' tab in the idle queue bar you will be able to see a list of survivors which will show whether they are assigned or idle. If you have survivors that are idle simply have a look around the town and tap bushes and trees, so you assign them on the resource tiles on the map to gather resources to increase your resource production.

Check the Events

An easy way to get additional rubies and rewards is by participating in the Events when they are available. You can check to see what Events are taking place by tapping the trophy button at the top-right side of the screen. An easy one to do is Technology Day, you can pick up the rewards it offers by simply building roads.

Unlock New Locations

When you begin The Walking Dead: Survivors it is essential that you explore the area around your settlement as this is the key to unlocking new locations, characters, items, resources, and finding out more about the world. Where to explore and who to send are choices that you will have to make as the leader.

Join a Clan

It is recommended that you join a clan and move into its territory, so you are able to benefit from the perks it offers. Not only will you get free rewards and access to the clans store you will also be able to get help from other clan members in reducing the construction/upgrade time of buildings, gathering resources, and during rally battles. You can join a clan by tapping the 'hands' icon in the lower-right corner of the screen and selecting the 'Create or Join' option. It is important to make sure that the clan that you join is an active one. To move to the clan's territory you must tap the 'teleport' icon at the top-right of the members section on the clan screen.
