Heal and Train Survivors

It is important that you don't neglect to Heal and Train your survivors. When your Survivors are wounded it decreases their abilities, so healing them helps them succeed the next time they go out. Training levels them up.

Repairs

If you have been attacked by walkers or an enemy player it is important that you repair any damaged fortifications in the Headquarters as soon as you are able to.

3-Day 'Cease Fire'

Make sure you take advantage of this period of time were you will not get attacked by other players to build a solid camp. This means upgrading and you should spend all the time you have to build all the structures available in the game, then upgrade them as much as possible.

Broadcast Tower

Take advantage of this free option even when your barracks are full as Survivors can be traded for supplies. It’s not the supplies themselves that matter, but the fact that you get some time boosts in return, usually 2 5-minute boosts.

Raiding Parties

When you deploy raiding parties on scavenging runs make sure you have some Enforcers or Guards mixed in with your Scavengers as they can be attacked by walkers or other players.

Scavenging

There is no need to scavenge every last bit from a resource node, you can always call back your raiding party before it’s fully loaded up if they are needed back at base.

Resources

Always scavenge for Resources at every availabe opportunity as it is vital to your survival. Keep an eye out in particular for Lumber which is much scarcer than food or other scavenge and is a very important item you should build a reserve of.

Allies and Enemies

Always take the time to negotiate truces with other Communities you and your team deem trustworthy.

Spend Bullets

Make sure you spend any bullets you have earned on effective boosts so that you make your attacks deadlier and your defenses stronger.
