Join an Alliance

Look to join an alliance as soon as you can as doing so will enable you to progress faster in the game as you will be able to build the trading post that allows you to trade resources with members. Joining an alliance will also enable you to earn credits by helping other members. Once you have found the ideal alliance you will need to teleport to the area so you are close to your collegues.

Explore with Scouts

Don't ignore your scouts as they play an important role in the game. This is especially true in the early stages where they will not only reveal the entire map around you along with its hidden goodies but will also show you where there are villages that are willing to help with technology, resources, or troops. Make sure you scout as much as possible in order to max out the rewards.

Complete Missions

Try to complete as many of the daily missions each day in order to unlock the chests and the rewards that are associated with them. Also by completing the regular campaign missions it enures that you progress through the game at the recommended pace.

New Headquarters Upgrade

Before you contemplate getting a new Headquarters upgrade it is recommended that you first level up all the buildings in your empire the maximum level. Taking this approach ensures you keep everything balanced and upgrade times in the same range.

Easy Resources

During the early stages of the game an easy way to get resources is to attack the barbarians that spawn next to your location and then gather resources that are in the area. Remember though that when you do this you are exposed to potential enemy attacks so only do its if you really need the resources. Eventually, you will have to find nearby empires to farm resources.

VIP Chest

Don't forget to claim the VIP chest you get daily from the 'VIP Menu' as it contains lots of items such as food, wood, and speed-ups. The quality of these items is based on your VIP level.
