Your objective in Zombie Army 4: Dead War is to save humankind from the zombie hordes that are led by the demonically powered Hitler. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

- Play with Friends
Although Zombie Army 4: Dead War can be played as a solo venture you will discover that playing alongside friends will be a more enjoyable experience as the cooperative gameplay will bring deeper, more sophisticated challenges to the campaign missions as they will require you to combine powers to fullfill the multiple objectives.
- Experiment with Weapons
Zombie Army 4: Dead War gives you access to an arsenal of different weapons which includes rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, and pistols. Each of these weapons can be further upgraded for mods which will enable them to perform better against the zombie hordes you encounter.

- Take Advantage of Safehouses
Scattered throughout Zombie Army 4: Dead War are safehouses that act as points of salvation that give you a temporary respite from the undead hordes. During the time you have in a safe house be sure to collect any ammunition, weapons, or useful items that are there. Also, use this time between missions to upgrade your weapons with the workbench.
- Level Up Quickly
Aside from the campaign missions in Zombie Army 4: Dead war, there are also extra chapter challenges available which will grant you XP when you complete them. These Chapter challenges are worthwhile doing as the XP you get from them will help you to level up quickly.
- Use Melee Attacks
Try to save ammo and other supplies whenever possible by using melee attacks. Putting together a combo of 10 melee attacks will enable you to perform a Melee Takedown attack which will also slightly heal your character. - Unlock Weapon Assist
Zombie Army 4: Dead War has a Weapon Assist mechanism which when unlocked will slow down time around you while you shoot giving you better chance to kill more. Weapon Focus Weapon Assist becomes unlocked when get 10 kills in a row with a secondary weapon. Once charged, you can press L2 and then R1 to activate it.
- Weapon Upgrade Priority
You will quickly learn that the best upgrades for your weapons in Zombie Army: Dead Army are those that allow them to deal elementary damage such as Incendiary, Electrical, or Divine as their effects spread to nearby enemies allowing you to take down multiple foes simultaneously. Always make getting this type of upgrade for your weapons a priority.

Tread Carefully
If you try and move too fast in Zombi the game will punish you by sending an overwhelming amount of zombies your way which almost always leads to death. To avoid this situation you need to take the cautious approach and tread through the game world carefully, this means checking corners and only running when necessary.
