How to Farm Shards to Make Money

There are various items you can find on your journey in Pokemon Legends: Arceus that can be used as crafting materials. A series of these items you will come across when random rifts called Space-Time Distortions appear are the Red, Green, and Blue Shards that drop from the sky from these locations. These colored Shards may look meaningless, but they are in fact a valuable crafting material. Shards are required to make Star Pieces, which you can sell for 5,000 cash each to the citizens of Jubilife Village to make a lot of money. You will be able to collect Red, Green, and Blue when random rifts called Space-Time Distortions appear. When these happen a circle area spawns where a rift has opened, if you go to their location you will find a special wild Pokemon has dropped from the sky. It is not necessary to fight this Pokemon, you can just sprint around it, grabbing as many shards from the floor as possible. During the time the rift is open all three Shard colors will randomly drop and if you are lucky maybe a Star Piece.

The colored Shards themselves are worthless, in order to get the recipe that will allow you to create Star Pieces from the Shards you have collected you will need to visit the Anvin, the craftworks vendor in Jubilife Village. Purchase the Star Piece crafting recipe from Anvin for 10,000 cash and providing you have the materials required you will be able to make a lot of money making and selling Star Pieces to the citizens of Jubilife. To create a Star Piece, you will need:

- 3 Red Shards

- 3 Blue Shards

- 3 Green Shards

- 1 Bag of Stardust

Aside from the colored Shards you will need Stardust to create a Star Piece. You will be able to collect Stardust whenever you see a sparkling collection point, just throw a Pokemon at it to get materials and Stardust. Stardust alone is worth 1,000 cash.
