Full Review for Pokemon FireRed by kyle_cliffe

Introduction

Ok about this game. Pokemon Fire Red is basically another version off Pokemon Red & Blue for the Gameboy colour. With a few new extras like you can face the Elite 4 a second time with new pokemon. There is also a few new Islands where you can catch Pokemon from Gold & Silver. There are also new move tutors where instead of teaching your Pokemon TMs, you can use a move tutor to teach them moves.

Graphics

The graphics of Pokemon Fire Red are nice graphics for a 2D role - playing like game.The Pokemon look a whole lot better then even Ruby & Sapphire. The graphics of the Pokemon's attacks look the same but personally I think that the game has got alot more colourfull.

Sound

The sound of Pokemon Fire Red has a nice feel to the game & makes the game a whole lot better. Although the game's Pokemon Centre music can get annoying, it has a nice sound to the game. All the music sounds similer to Pokemon Red, Blue & Yellow's music but with enhancement.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Pokemon Fire Red is a bit like the gameplay of Pokemon Red & Blue. The only difference is the game has new moves, new Pokemon & a few new places to visit. If you don't have Pokemon Red or Blue then you will find this game very enjoyable.

Lastability

The lastability of Pokemon Fire Red is almost never ending. In this game you get a National Pokdex which means you need to catch over 350 pokemon. Which takes a very long time but through all the long time it is enjoyable. Also the game has side quests like finding Loralai & Fixing the machine so you can trade with Ruby & Sapphire. You will never get board of having this game.

Overall

The game Pokemon Fire Red is a really good game with loads of sidequests with Cool graphics & sounds. If you don't own Pokemon Red or Blue fot the Gameboy colour then this IS a must have game. Not as good as Ruby & Sapphire but it is still a very good game.
