At Level 27 you reach a ruined bridge crossing the river. To get past it, you need to enlist help from your Friends, which you can do by clicking the triangle. This is one of the few times when social elements are mandatory in Pet Rescue Saga.
You need three Friends to be playing the game and to reply to your request for help. If you do not have any friends listed, it means you do not have any valid and playing the game. Try visiting the SuperCheats forums or posting in the comments below to find fellow gamers who also need friends and assistance in crossing that darn level 27 bridge!
Once you have three friends you have all replied positively, you should be able to pass on to the next level.
NOTE: If you are still having problems with this, keep trying to send those requests for help as they are easily jammed or lost by the game. It is very frustrating but perseverance seems to work in the end.

I have been stuck trying to cross the bridge asking friends for lifes and still can't cross is something wrong with the game?
I have no friends listed as well. I contacted KING through the help page but got no help - just a go to the help page note. There must be something wrong with the game and they have not fixed it. I suggest people keep sending and saying what the problem is. My other games work fine.
Trying to move on to new world at level 643 but friends list now displays differently and have not gotten any response for over a week now..it seems like my requests are not really going any where. Anyone else have this problem??

I have been stuck at the bridge after level 41 for over a week. I have no friends showing if I click the triangle then ask friends. Yet, if I pretend there are some and click select then ask it will open a screen showing friends. I have selected all then ask several times a day every day. I am playing on King.com and not on Facebook. I would gladly add anyone willing to help me out. Thanks.

Log out of facebook from under your settings, go back to the game screen and press the bridge your "friends" need to help you get across. If done correct you should see something called "mystery quest. You Can play 3 levels they have created just for problems like many of us without friends. Yourwelcome

I feel this is totally manipulative of the game designers. If they don't allow me to play without involving others, I quit playing this and all other King games. I needed some motivation to quit this addiction and this is it.
It is a shame because I find these games relaxing but I refuse to continue now
